I do it constantly in just normal day to day life when I’m not even trying to speak to anyone else in my system and I did it before learning about tulpamancy. I have a feeling most people do and just don’t really think about it or notice it.
The term tulpish exists because we needed a way to refer to when tulpas (and hosts, to their tulpas) communicate in pure thought-feeling rather than direct imagined vocal sentences
3:56 PM
But, it really is just thought
3:56 PM
It's in a different context when you're a singlet thinking to yourself, but it's still the same thing, technically
3:57 PM
Anyways, aiming for audible vocality is a good goal, and helps conversation be more clear and fulfilling in my opinion
3:57 PM
But "tulpish"/thought-feeling communication is still helpful
3:57 PM
Technically, when talking audibly, both are going on at the same time
3:58 PM
So regardless of the exact words you or your tulpa use, they should be able to get your exact intent and context
Yeah, clear vocal sentences are a goal, not the only thing you should be expecting/accepting
4:00 PM
Tulpas usually necessarily start out as not sounding different from your own thoughts
4:00 PM
Holding the intent for certain ones to be your tulpa and not you, over time they should start to gain a different context feeling
4:01 PM
Eventually they might gain a separate voice from yours, but even without, the context-feeling to their thoughts becomes unique enough that it isn't mistakable for your own
4:01 PM
And then the final goal would be both that and clear vocal sentences in their own unique voice
4:01 PM
But, as long as communication is clear and consistent, it doesn't really matter how
Creating a different feeling or ‘presence’ or ‘vibe’ or whatever you what to call it is probably more important than vocality but no one ever talks about that.

well… i do talk about it all the time
I don’t have aphantasia at all and still use it to speak to others in my system all the time. It’s just easier and faster.
4:05 PM
But it has caused an annoying habit of people speaking over others because they already know what they are going to say and don’t wait for them to actually say the words like they want to
Well...
I began with giving my tulpa name(Kirara) and form (a black wolf, bc I thought that would be easier to visualise although I keep saying that she can change her form if she wants to) and basic personality (extrovert, totally opposite of mine)
4:37 PM
I just began with it and it's totally fine if she wants to change anything
When making a personality so different from you’re own you should expect them to deviate and and develop traits similar to you, especially when they start fronting. They can still be very different from you but as time goes on similarities are unavoidable
Being wishy-washy and unsure is a good way to slow down progress
4:48 PM
Early in development tulpas often have less of a centralized sense of self and they will say things occasionally that didn't actually have much thought behind them, yes
doesnt matter. You assume they are sentient even if they aren’t. Constantly thinking ‘oh they aren’t sentient yet’ is just going to fuck them over when they start to develop and you keep acting like they aren’t sentient
4:50 PM
everything is just pretending. Gaslight yourself into having a tulpa ♂️
Early things said by tulpas aren't usually very serious or committal, so as long as you understand that they're still developing and not making clear and decisive decisions every time they say something yet, there's no need to worry about their vocality

the host’s job is to be annoying and worry about shit that doesn’t matter. I don’t make the rules ♂️
oh ! are there any sort of like ,,, toxic thoughts that might come up or i need to be aware of when creating my tulpa ? like one that would hinder their development ig
just go as you feel, if you have any thoughts that are slowing down your progress or make you feel uncomfortable let us know. if we told you potential thoughts like that, there is a risk that we would just plant it in your brain
I would not worry about it. Trust that they will be able to tell the difference between what you intend, and something unintentional. It's really quite easy.
Also how do you know when a tulpa is fronting? I feel as though I am the predominant thinker, looking at the world with mostly fresh eyes, yet nothing seems new if that makes sense
